About Michael Loberg

Michael Loberg practices in the areas of commercial litigation, dispute resolution, insolvency and restructuring and all related fields.

Graduating from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 1998, Michael was admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor in Alberta in 1999, an Attorney-at-Law in the Cayman Islands in 2006, and a Solicitor of the High Court of England & Wales in 2008.

Prior to reading law at the University of Alberta Michael took a Philosophy degree with Honours from the University of Calgary in 1995, and Michael continues to engage in on-going professional education.

Michael has practiced extensively in Alberta and also with the Cayman Islands office of Appleby Global, the world's largest provider of offshore legal, fiduciary and trust administration services, as well as with a major Canadian-based multinational law firm’s Calgary office.

Michael is a member of the International Bar Association, the Law Society of Alberta, the Law Society of England and Wale, the Cayman Islands Law Society (currently inactive), and the Canadian Bar Association.
